London Lounge Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all transactions on the London Lounge website. By placing an order with London Lounge, you will have deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions. If you need any clarification on anything within these terms and conditions then please contact us by email at info@london-lounge.com or by telephone 01305 830111 prior to placing an order. These terms and conditions do not effect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Pricing and payment

We endeavour to ensure that all of our pricing is correct. However if we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled and issue a full refund of monies paid. Payment will be taken in full at checkout and all prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) at the current rates.

Delivery

Our free local delivery applies within a 30 mile radius from our main showroom address (please see qualifying postcodes). Additional charges will apply to furniture deliveries outside of these areas and will be applied at checkout. When an order contains more than one item, all furniture items will be delivered at the same time as soon as all items are available. An estimated delivery timescale is suggested by the suppliers at the time of order however this can be subject to change. We will make every effort to deliver your goods within this timescale and keep you informed of your orders progress. If delivery is delayed due to circumstances beyond our control, then London Lounge cannot accept any liabilities for consequential loss or failure to deliver products within estimated timescales.

Preparing For Furniture Delivery

It is the customers responsibility to ensure adequate access at the point of delivery and that the item is fit for the purpose it is intended, prior to purchase. If it is not possible to deliver the items, we may have to apply a charge in order to take any items back into stock. In all cases, further attempts to deliver will incur a delivery charge. In order to ensure this situation does not occur we ask that you take the following into consideration

1. Measure the height and width of any door accesses and hallways.

2. Check the dimensions of furniture to ensure items will fit.

3. Clear plenty of space to allow for delivery and any packaging materials.

Cancellation

If you have placed an order online with London Lounge and you are considering cancelling or changing your order please email info@london-lounge.com or call 01305 830111 with your name, address, order number and preferred contact number so we can call you to discuss your options.

Online Returns Policy

If you have purchased an item online and have changed your mind, you can return the item within 14 days of delivery. The cost of returning goods is the responsibility of the customer and they must be returned undamaged and in their original packaging. A refund will only be processed once returned goods have been inspected by our returns department and deemed to be in a suitable condition. We will provide a full refund for the purchase price of the goods but not any delivery charges. Please note that, with exception of faulty products, for hygiene and safety reasons we cannot accept the return of certain items that have been opened for example mattresses, pillows, mattress protectors. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns of orders that are bespoke, made to measure or have been specially ordered to your specifications. 

With regard to faulty goods, you have the right to reject the goods if they are of unsatisfactory quality, unfit for purpose or not as described and get a full refund. This right is limited to 30 days from the date you took ownership of the goods. If an item is faulty and needs to be returned, London Lounge will cover the returns cost.

Problem with your delivery

Should you have a problem with your order please call us on 01305 830111 or email us at info@london-lounge.com to report the issue. Please include your name, order number, a brief description of the problem and a preferred contact number. A member of staff from our customer Service team will contact you and we will do everything we can to resolve this as quickly as possible.

Your Guarantee

London Lounge will cover your furniture purchase for 1 year against any manufacturing defects which may arise under normal use. This applies to mainland United Kingdom and doesn't affect your statutory rights
